The problem
A seasonal lakeside business has unique web needs. Most visitors hit the site from their phones, often on weak signal, often in a hurry to find hours, menu, or directions. The team also needed a private back-of-house portal for staff, without paying for a separate SaaS tool.
Our approach
We built around the client's existing brand and added a warm, hand-drawn illustration set to give the site the easy, casual energy of the place. The marketing site is mobile-first and aggressively performance-tuned. A gated staff portal sits alongside the public site, sharing the same design system, so the team experience feels of a piece with the customer one.
