An original, instantly-playable arcade we built end to end: bounce a hand-drawn cartoon bean up an endless garden, dodge the pests, grab power-ups, and chase live global high scores. No install, no app store — one tap in any browser, on any screen.

The problem
We wanted to prove a small studio could ship a console-quality game on the open web — buttery, original, and friction-free. That meant no downloads, no forced sign-up, everything hand-made, and a marketing site that felt as crafted as the game itself.
Our approach
We built everything from scratch: a framework-agnostic Canvas game engine with a fixed-timestep simulation, interpolated rendering, and locked 60fps; a runtime-synthesized chiptune audio engine; and hundreds of hand-drawn animation frames across a whole cast of characters. The landing page is its own craft piece — a cinematic 1930s “feature film” with a live bean climbing through the scene. Accounts, cloud sync, and anti-cheat-protected global leaderboards run on Auth.js, Drizzle, and Neon — and it still plays as a guest, offline.
