From passion to profession
We started Azalea around a shared belief: the web has become too templated. Small businesses and indie founders deserve work that feels custom, not another drag-and-drop cookie cutter.
Charlie was born on Vancouver Island, with a background in frontend craft and visual design. Josh was born and raised in Alberta, with deep expertise in backend systems and infrastructure. Together we cover the full stack, and the full studio.
We work fully remote, so the studio isn't tied to a place. We serve clients anywhere in the world. What we bring is small-shop attention, big-shop polish, and the kind of honest collaboration you'd hope for from a great freelance partner.
